This time around, many Americans have been left unaware, or simply too comfortable, to worry about the threat today, even though it's just as large.

I blame that on the Bush administration more than anything. But at some point, whether now or 5 years from now, we will be faced with a horrific situation. While we entered the war in 1941, we didn't take the Nazi issue to importantly until it was too late. We figured that since it was only Japan that attacked us, only Japan should be targeted.

It took us almost 3 more years to fight the Nazis and it was almost too late.

If we focused smply on Afghanistan, we would be so utterly short-sighted we wouldn't stand any chance. I think that Bush learned from the mistakes of the Clinton administration and understood the global struggle.

I believe that is why were are in Iraq today.Shaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02312584421727801374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6801353.post-32873822662276325512006-10-10T11:03:00.000-05:002006-10-10T11:03:00.000-05:00MIT researchers show that Sowell is wrong about WW...MIT researchers show that Sowell is wrong about WW2.
http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2006/berinsky.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
