Incompetence with an "H"

And the hits keeping coming.

First, we have the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, going on the Sunday talk show circuit lambasting Arizona and threatening legal action against the state for having the audacity to enforce a federal law. In his remarks last Sunday, Holder - a man I hold in very little esteem, following his shameful inaction in the case of the two "Black Panthers" who intimidated voters in Philadelphia during the 2008 election - stated that the Feds may sue the state of Arizona for civil rights violations.

On Thursday, Holder was questioned about his statements and was forced to admit that he had not even read the bill he's criticizing!!

Forget the fact that there is no violation, and forget the fact that SB1070 - the bill in question - simply enforces the existing federal law that was signed by Franklin Roosevelt, over 70 years ago. Just let the idea that not only has he condemned a bill he has not read, he is the freaking ATTORNEY GENERAL!!! What the hell does he do, if not read the laws???

Here is a man who is paid a large amount of taxpayer dollars to be the number one law enforcement officer in the country. If the Attorney General says the law passed is problematic, we - as Americans - should trust his judgment. But - and this is a very big but - our trust in him is predicated on the notion that he knows what the Hell he's talking about!

Look, because he is Obama's choice, I already have a preconceived antipathy for him. However, because he is an appointed official, I have no choice but to respect his office for which he is serving. That said, he is an embarrassment to this country. And not the first time. He has in the past, made disparaging comments about Americans, calling us a "nation of cowards," he has refused to recognize that radical Islam is the driving force for terrorism and he has looked the other way when the two Black Panthers clearly intimidated the voters of that precinct in Philadelphia (I watched it unfold on TV).

Of course, it is very unlikely that President Obama will throw Holder under the bus, so to speak. However, if he thinks it will help get Elena Kagan on the Supreme Court, there is nothing Obama won't do.

This leads me to another Arizona-based issue...

As many of you have probably heard, Suzan Hebson, assistant superintendent of Highland Park, Ill., School District 113, nixed the plans of the girl's varsity basketball team traveling to a championship tournament in Arizona. The young ladies, who won the state championship for the first time in 26 years, had held bake sales and other fundraisers in order to pay for the trip.

Hebson unilaterally decided - without discussing it with the parents, or even other school officials - that the trip “would not be aligned” with the school's “beliefs and values.”

So, Ms. Hebson, what exactly are those “beliefs and values?” That children should be pawns in some partisan political arena? How about that "we are only a nations of laws we choose to accept?" Is that a value of yours?

Hebson, and many others like her, don't give a crap about the Arizona ranchers who are being murdered, or the enormous drug trade that illegal immigrants are creating and enforcing. They don't care that Arizona taxpayers are tired of footing the bills for education and medical care for others who have broken our laws in coming in illegally. They don't give a damn that millions of Americans who came her LEGALLY wasted there money and time in doing so.

And they certainly don't care that at a time of national securities woes and militant Islamic and La Raza criminals are walking right into our open borders mostly unheeded.

Like most liberals, I doubt seriously that Hebson even has a clue what the bill says. Like Eric Holder, she probably formed her opinion based on what she heard on MSNBC and other left-wing "news" sources.

However, even if her complaints were actually legitimate - and truth be told, if you consider the Arizona bill to be wrong (assuming you read the bill), then you must also consider any border protection to be wrong - to punish innocent children this way is insane.

And there have come out two additional bits of information about Ms. Hebsen. Number one, she was in her present school position when students from that school visited China. Are you going to tell me that China “would not be aligned” with the school's “beliefs and values?” If so, why the Hell is she even in her job, educating our children?

The second this is more perverse. From FOX News:

In 2007, when she was assistant superintendent for human resources in the district, Hebson made national news for supporting an initiative at Deerfield High School that required freshman students to participate in orientation panel discussions, one of which was led by members of the school’s Straight and Gay Alliance Network. During the seminars, upperclassmen spoke to the ninth graders about a variety of topics affecting homosexual teens, including their own personal experiences -- and all students were required to sign confidentiality agreements swearing never to disclose what they heard.

So let me get this straight. This person - a women who is second-in-charge of educating high school students in Highland Park - doesn't think girls should go to a basketball tourney in Arizona because it goes against her “beliefs and values.”But she supports an orientation program where homosexuals indoctrinate other children into the wonders of sodomy? And she makes them sign a confidentiality agreement searing the never say what was heard?

Wait, what is shge afraid of? That perhaps the parents might object???

All I can tell you is that this woman deserves more than just the grief she is currently receiving. Suzan Hebson MUST be fired and kept as far away from children as possible. She is a danger to the very fabric of society in a similar way that Eric Holder is a danger to this country. Both, who you would assume are highly educated, are so far removed from the real world that they just need to go away. In Hebson's case, she should never have been hired in the first place and really should find work in another field.

In Holder's case, his lack of understanding the enemy, as well as his incompetence on the job, leave the US far weaker a nation. It would be amazing if Obama would "man up" and admit Holder was a poor choice. But of course, should he fire him, he will blame racism and conservatives.

It's the Chicago way.
