Not much of a blog today. I spent the day at the doctor's office. Apparently, I have, once again, a pinched nerve caused by a herniation of the L3 lumbar disc. The surgery I had in 2000 fused the L4 and L5 discs and the surgeon warned me that the L3 could cause me trouble.

So, I am again going to have injection therapy and PT. Unfortunately, because of my kidney issues, I can't take any NSAID's (Ibuprophen, Naprosin) or muscle relaxers. I can, however, take Vicodin!

So life's not so bad. Plus, I had Elisha with me all day and he was incredibly good. I was so proud of him. 'course this means he's going to make up for it tonight. Hmmmm.

I'm just about finished writing part one of my transplant story and will probably post it tonight on the website (www.shaynezucker.com). I wrote it to be included in a book about heart recipients and their families. It's going to be pretty long. Part I, which takes place up to the heart attack is about 4 pages on Word. I guess Part II may be shorter since I have a hard time remembering a lot of it. I suppose I'll figure it out as I go along. Besides, Renee is helping me with a lot of it.
