When I started my blog, I surfed around and followed the rants of a number of other bloggers, in order to get a better idea of how different people express themselves. One blog in particular, caught my attention. For some reason, maybe it was the way this person wore their heart on their sleeve, maybe the everyday hopes, failures, accomplishments and feelings we all experience, I decided to follow along.
This blogger was just like rest of us. Angry at times, happy at others. Sad sometimes as well. But never boring. This person, whoever it may be, just needed a way to express their feelings in writing. Some of us find it easier to put into words the thoughts and emotions we feel. Some of us do it out in the open, some of us anonymously. Personally, I feel I can reach out to more people by using my name. Because of what I went through, I believe I am taken more seriously when I write, especially when I talk about the transplant.
This person was the opposite. This person had a following of people who may or not have known them personally. I did not. I arrived somewhat in the middle and just hung around. Unfortunately, it was only for a short time. Too short.
Whoever this person is, I hope they found the completeness they were looking for. I hope that when they said goodbye, for the last time, today, it was in order to reach a destination they had seeked and finally found.
I never really knew you, but I'll miss you just the same.
