Well, I finally posted part 3 of the transplant story on my website. It took on a new life when Renee agreed to have her story told. We spent several hours together over the last week writing, editing and reminiscing about that time. It was very emotional for me because although I realize it wasn't my "fault", it still affected her and the kids. I went through a terrible depression in the hospital (coming soon in part 4) and placed a lot of blame for what Renee went through, on me.

I'm off to Las Vegas on Sunday with Rachel. We're going to help Mike and Arye move Mom from one facility to another. Since I don't really gamble (as if I had any money to gamble with), I'll just enjoy the scene (and the heat - good for my arthritis).
