The famous 1971 Kerry book, "The New Soldier", is available free online -- HERE.
Kerry refused to allow his publisher to offer new copies to be made available to the public. In an interview with Tim Russert, Kerry said that the speeches and actions he did in the early 1970s should be be excused to youthful indiscretion. I assume he meant "except the actual 4 months" when he served.
While I haven't finished the book yet, I can already understand why Kerry wants it hidden. The man is pathetic.
One note I found interesting was Kerry's mentioning of the religious affiliation of the members of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War. He states that the largest groups were Catholics and agnostics. He points to no other specific groups, except Jews. Not Muslims, not Baptists, not even Hispanics or Blacks.
Just Jews.
Shameful.
By the way, Chapter 7 is now going through the proofreading process and I plan to have it posted sometime over the weekend.
