It may be that Islam in its true form is as gentle as a lamb. But in the real world, it is an aggressive, violent political ideology. It may also be that a majority of U.S. Muslims object to the jihad being waged against infidel Christians, Jews, Hindus, atheists, agnostics and democrats of all denominations. But if so, they are keeping it to themselves.

I really believe that many Americans are tired of the way the country has been taken advantage of, by the "political correct" views of the liberal left. Now, I am not suggesting that we mistreat innocent people, or even stop immigration. Our country was built by immigrants looking for a better life and should continue to serve that purpose. However, we are in a fight for our very existence and can not afford to "look the other way" in order to allow our country to be raped, by people who know how to "work the system".
One excellent example is "racial profiling". I do not, and will not believe that every Moslem is a terrorist. I do not believe that every Moslem wants to kill or subjugate Americans and/or Jews. However, I do believe that the vast majority of those who wish for, finance, plan and carry out terror tactics against Americans and/or Jews, are Moslems. While anyone could carry out an attack against us, it seems to always be the Arabs, or one of their Moslem sympathizers, who are hell-bent on destroying us.
If, in order to keep our airlines safer, we have to "profile" Arabs at the airport, then I say better safe than sorry. What we did during WWII, to Japanese-Americans, was foolish. Many of the "spies" we worried about, were simply migrant workers. While we claimed that many of them lived near military bases (apparently for intelligence reasons - to spy on us), the truth is that vast majority of them lived there long before the military set up their bases.
But, we certainly had every right to be suspicious.
Yes, in the U.S.A., we are all innocent, until proven guilty. But, that doesn't mean we should shut our eyes and ignore what is right in front of our faces - just because we don't want to hurt the sensitivities of those who are clearly sympathetic, and in many cases, complicit in terrorist activities. If Israel were to take that approach, it's true that there would no longer be animosity between the Arabs and Israel.
Because Israel would no longer exist.
