Ok, I agree that Kerry's Vietnam record is what is and that it shouldn't matter 30 years later.
Except for one thing...
As a possible leader of the United States, Kerry is running on that record. When I hear people comment that Bush's record doesn't match Kerry's, I agree. So what? Bush is running on his current record and policies.
If Bush were running on his years in the National Guard, then it would be a fair comparison.
Kerry has a tarnished record. Maybe he deserved his Purple Hearts. However, where there's smoke, there's usually fire. There have been questions regarding Kerry's past that have been going on for years.
Plus, why are the Dems so up in arms for Bush denouncing the Kerry ads? I don't recall Kerry denouncing Michael Moore or Whoopie Goldberg!
When I think of Kerry, I'm reminded that he is a privileged little yuppie twit, who has always had his way. His reaction when he fell skiing and when he he fell off of his bike, was classic. He's like that brat who cries when he doesn't get picked to play and takes his ball and runs home to mommy.
What a baby!
