I don't understand all the hubbub about the Monday Night Football opening. For those who missed it, Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Terrell Owens appeared in the locker room as he was getting ready to play. In walked Nicole Sheridan (from Desperate Housewives), who was wearing nothing but a towel. She took off her robe (nothing could be seen) and seduced him to stay and miss the game.

While I readily admit that it borders on pornographic, it is certainly no worse than 75% of the shows currently on TV. The argument people have used to criticize the spot was that young people watch the game. However the game is on at 9pm eastern time. Again, there are far worse things on TV.

Yes, it was probably too hot for network TV, but the outcry from everyone is a little much.

The Eagles and ABC apologized. So far, no one from the Dallas Cowboys have offered their apology for the way they played.
