Well, Arafat's still alive. It appears he will be buried in Ramallah. I still don't think he should be. I like the idea of his being cremated and placed in the United Nations vaults. After all, they were his best friends.

I watched an afternoon "town hall" type show on FOX earlier today. What I found most interesting was the discussion about Arafat's bank accounts. According to most experts - including those from the Palestinians - Arafat is worth 1-3 billion dollars and according to a FOX News source, as much as $10 billion.

Although the news anchor mentioned that this money was given to the PLO leader by many sources, including the US, EU, UN and (incredibly) Israel as well as Saudi Arabia and Iraq, it was specifically for the purpose of building a new nation alongside of Israel. Instead, it has been hidden in banks all over the world while Arafat denies his people even the basic necessities of life.

What struck me about this was that the anchor seemed to dismiss this as anything wrong. Her attitude was disturbing. Instead of being enraged and perhaps showing some acknowledgement to the fact that it is very clear that the anger of the Arabs towards Israel has been terribly misplaced, she appeared to just imply that it's just the way it is.

There should be and should have been consequences aside from giving Arafat more money. The idea that Israel has been abusing the Arabs has always been a fallacy. Unfortunately, instead of cutting Arafat off, the world continues to give him the money he needs to kill more Jews and oppress his people.

That's just sick. FOX News, CNN and all the rest, along with all guilty parties should just be ashamed of themselves. It isn't enough to apologize. More needs to be done.

It is high time that it is.
