There is no liberal anti-American bias in the press? How about this...
From an Associated Press Washington dispatch:
"We'd love to have a cease-fire," White House spokesman Tony Snow said. "But Hezbollah has to be part of it. And at this point, there's no indication that Hezbollah intends to lay down arms."
The AP headline? "U.S. Opposed to Cease-Fire With Hezbollah."
Hat tip -- Best of the Web
Here's a great series from the American Thinker that I found at the Mediacrity blog. I strongly recommend reading both parts.
With all the talk of a needed cease-fire, here is an excellent article by Caroline Glick: An Acceptable Cease-Fire.
And of course, no Friday would be complete without the wisdom of my favorite writer, Thomas Sowell. With keen precision, he makes difficult issues so easy to undertand that it you want to smack your head that you didn't come up with it first. In my opinion, no one tells that absolute truth better than him.
Here is today's article. It is definitely a must-read: Pacifists versus peace.
