Should I care that Kofi Annan is mad at Israel? Should Israel care?
So the HTIC (Head Terrorist in Charge) of the UN claims that Israel has violated the terms of current cease-fire - or as it should be called, the current Hezbollah rearmement - by staging a commando raid in eastern Lebanon.
Israel claims that the raid was launched to stop arms smuggling from Iran and Syria to Hezbollah fighters.
Let's be honest here. If anybody is in violation, it's Hezbollah. It can't be Syria or Iran, since they aren't officially a party to the agreement. But for Annan to once again jump to the conclusion that Israel is at fault is no longer amusing. His blatant disregard for Israel's safety and his outright adulation of Hezbollah is at least unfortunate and at most traitorous.
It is beyond belief that the UN's top representative is so disgustingly anti-Semitic, but to be so flagrantly unashamed about it is just mind-blowing.
And what might be even more disturbing is how little the United States does in changing this. You can say that the US is just one of many nations who support the UN, but you know as well as I do who controls the purse strings. If the US truly wanted to reform the UN, there are quite a few steps they can take to do so. But unfortunately, when it comes to acting in the best interest of humanity, the liberal half of the country make it damn near impossible to do anything but sit aside as fascist dictators sabotage all reform in the name of globalization and equality.
These bastards wouldn't know equality if it bit them in the ass.
So, in light of these comments by Herr Kofi, I present the following top 10 list:
THE TOP 10 WAYS TO REFORM THE UN
10. Move the UN to the top floors of the Freedom Tower
Since the majority of UN nations support those who planned and executed the 9/11 attacks, let them take the risk of working atop the new tower instead of New Yorkers.
9. Do not allow nations who violate human rights a role in human rights commitees
I mean, c'mon. Does it really need to be said?
8. Replace Kofi Annan with an "honest" broker.
If he were running a corporation, he'd either have been fired or indicted. Long past time for a change.
7. Reformulate the Security Council to better represent larger populations
Why should France, with 60 million people, be a permanent member when India, whose population is almost double, not be? And no - I'm not purposely attacking the French.
6. Spend as much energy stopping genocide in Sudan as is spent villifying israel
Even 25% would be an improvement.
5. Allow every country the ability to serve at least one year on the Security Council
Oh, I'm sorry. Everyone has. I mean, except for Israel, of course.
4. Create a 4-member team from democratic countries to oversee financial reform
Perhaps England, Denmark, Japan and Canada to control financial transparencies.
3. Create incentives in order to assimilate refugees into neighboring lands
After all of these years, the only refugees who still haven't been absorbed are the Arabs from the Middle East. I know they're pawns, they know they're pawns and everyone else knows they're pawns. Considering that the PA controls most of the West Bank, isn't it time we stop calling them refugees? With all the billions of dollars given to Arafat and Abbas, why haven't they been absorbed in their own territory?
2. Focus energies towards humanitarian relief and away from military conflicts
As a humanitarian relief organization, the UN has done some good things. Unfortunately, by their very own composure, they are incapable of being fair-minded.
1. Disband
What would happen if it did? Tyrants would have less say about world affairs. New York would have more available parking and less diplomats. Israel wouldn't be treated any better, but at least they wouldn't care about the acceptance that will never come. Of course, on the downside, John Kerry would have no one to pass the buck to. Oh wait. That's not so bad after all. Plus, we wouldn't have to concern ourselves with what the French think (okay, THAT was a purposeful jab).
