Do you know about the taxpayer-funded Khalil Gibran International Academy? This Brooklyn academy was created for Arab-language (read: Muslim) students and serves as any other city elementary school does, meaning it's paid for by your taxes. Since it's considered a public school, the cost of tuition is zero, as well. There is more on this horrible idea here.

The latest news about the school is courtesy of today's New York Post, who report that the principal, Dhabah “Debbie” Almontaser, is a board member and spokeswoman for an organization that has been selling T-shirts emblazoned with the words “Intifada NYC”.

Of course, like all "moderate" Muslims, Almontaser claims that the message is harmless. When questioned about it, she explained, “The word [intifada] basically means ’shaking off.’ That is the root word if you look it up in Arabic."

Furthermore, the principal explained, “I think it’s pretty much an opportunity for girls to express that they are part of New York City society . . . and shaking off oppression.”

Of course, these are the same people who tell us that Jihad simply means "struggle" - not "we want you all dead!"

How silly of me.

In today's society, were every word is judged by the "political correct police," we are slowly losing our sanity. Yet, we continue to accept the lies and distortions of those who want to completely subjugate, or exterminate us.

By using our language against us, Islamic fascists are destroying us from within, with barely a peep in resistance. I have my theories exactly when it was we began to surrender ourselves. But it no longer matters anymore. I mean, could you imagine a German school - a PUBLIC SCHOOL - opening up in New York City in 1942??? What if it were run by Nazi sympathizers?

What the hell is going on here? We don't deport illegals, we criminalize border patrol guards who merely do their jobs, we beat around the bush in Iraq, we make clandestine deals with the Saudis and we blame Israel for not giving back land it's already given back. Have we completely lost our minds?

On top of all of it, we are forced to listen to idiots such as John Edwards - who at least used to have style (but still no substance), Hillary Clinton - who has more faces than Mount Rushmore, Barack Obama - who is Tiger Woods without the talent or intelligence. And don't get me started on guys like Dennis Kucinich, Dick Durbin and Chris Dodd, shiver.

The saddest thing in America today is that the election process really prohibits any great candidate from running for President. Either you have to have a crystal-clear personal background, been a true war hero (sorry, Sen. Kerry) or saved us from terrorists. And even that isn't always enough. Seriously, why would anyone in their right mind want to be the President? Anyone who has been very successful in the real world wouldn't really want the stress or the pay cut.

No, I believe running for office today requires someone who is so arrogant and self-serving, petty and political and basically someone who has been bought off by special-interests. Unfortunately, I look at both parties the same way. As far as I'm concerned, from what I've seen, heard, watched and experienced, there is really only one candidate that stands a little ahead of the pack and that's only because he's a real leader.

Of course, it helps that the entire city of New York considers him their hero. But he comes with his own baggage as well.

Damn, if we don't wake up. we may never get out of this mess.
