For those of you who either don't watch American Idol, or those who got home only to find that because the show ran 5 minutes late, you missed Adam Lambert's incredible rendition of "Mad World," here is the video of what I believe may have been the finest performance I have ever seen from that show - along with the one-of-a-kind response by Simon Cowell:

Oh wow. Weird thing is.. he sounds a lot like this dude who sings in a local band that I used to.... date? Is that the word to use? But yeah.. gave me shivers. I don't watch that show but if all the performers sounded like that, I would. Thanks for sharing. Too bad this vid didn't show the judges' comments though.
