Great to hear a Democrat criticizing Michael Moore. I had planned to ignore the behemoth entirely here, but I love the article written by Ed Koch, former Mayor of New York. Here's a sampling:

"It is shocking to me that Americans in a time of war, and we literally are at war with Americans being deliberately killed in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere by Islamic terrorists, will attack their own country, sapping its strength and making its enemies stronger."

Many people like to believe Moore's movie is about truth. It's unfortunate that many of us believe only what they're told by Hollywood actors, who make "playing pretend" a career. Michael Moore does what he does because he makes a boatload of money and is adored by the liberal left. Unfortunately, many questions remain regarding "the truth" in his last film, "Bowling for Columbine". I dare say, with what I've read on his website and heard from others who wasted their money to see this trash, he has done it again.

Michael Moore is a good movie maker. He's able to tell a story and put it on film. However, his films are as much "reality" as Reality TV. There too, you only see what the director wants you to see.

I don't believe Michael Moore should shut up. That would be wrong. I just want him to tell "the truth".
