It has been one heluva week. I finally finished my latest article (just three weeks late) and am exhausted. I had a number of topics I started writing about, but decided that in honor of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp, I would write about the proposal by some Illinois state representatives to compare the Holocaust with other cases of mass killings.

The banquet I'm chairing is this Saturday night. Even though I started an additional teaching gig, I should be able to get back to my regular posting next week.
