Hezbollah missiles have now reached Haifa and Nahariya in northern Israel. Israeli officials are calling this a "huge escallation of the situation". Of course, it's not "huge" enough for the UN, Russia and France to condemn. No, that only comes when Arab locations are hit.
At least the US and Germany get it. German Chancellor Angela Merkel stated, "The attacks did not start from the Israeli side, but from Hezbollah's side." But of course, most European leaders have not shared their views. But who really thought they would? In a society that sits back and condemns Danish cartoons instead of cherishing freedom of speech, an Jewish soldier's life means very, very little.
